Do you want to put all of the remaining bugdet towards the end of the year
SOURCE celebration?
What would you like to have at this event?
Are there any other events/ways you or your organization would like to spend
this money?
This an exciting chance to brainstorm future SOURCE activities. Please talk
about this in your organizations and let us know your imput!!

Also, last semester some of your organizations gave money to SOURCE for food

Last but not least,

MEETING MINUTES (Thanks to Sherisse for taking minutes at the mtg!!)

-INTROS
-ANNOUNCEMENTS
-UPCOMING ACCEPTED STUDENTS WEEKEND
Karen parker emailed SOURCE asking for student involvement from SOURCE.
points that were made:
1. The SOURCE liason position has not been filled
2. Why wasn't SOURCE contacted earlier during the planning stages?
3. How much time would this invlove? What would it include? There needs to be
acknowledgement of how much work SOURCE students are expected to do.
4. Last year's SOURCE discussion with incoming students of color and int'l
students was successful.
It was decided that the coordinators would email Karen saying that SOURCE is
willing to have an informal discussion with the accepted students and will also
bring them to the 5th Platoon PASA event in the tavern.

-GROUP AGREEMENTS ESTABLISHED
1. Stepback/Step forward (airspace within the group)
2.Respect- with constructive criticism
3.maintain Confidentiality
4.coming to decision by concensus

SOURCE members ,ust be taken into consideration.

Ponits brought up-
1.What are the guidelines for SOURCE inclusion as a group? There is no known
application process.
2.Suggestion of Drafting a new Mission Statement
3.SOURCE involvment in Student Strike- Rumor that SOURCE was against the
student strike. Need to have further discussion of SOURCE and its political
role. Must take into account int'l student's role.and consequenses also.
4. For newer non-source groups, i.e. Mixed Heritage, QPOCI, African Men and
Women of Hampshire Does joinng SOURCE alienate members of these groups?

SUGGESTIONS FOR FUTURE MTGS
1.to be more laid back
2.not so political
3. more space for social events-Everyone needs to be part of SOURCEe so SOURCE
can exist and speak collectively
