Jose Campo  Cuban Doctor / Writer / Poet Speaking Tonight at Amherst

There is a really amazing lecture happening tonight at Amherst College.
Jose Campo , a renowned Cuban gay doctor will be discussing
"Medicine and the Humanities: the liberal arts and medical education in the 
21st Century. 

Campo is most known for his writing and work with queer communities of color
affected by AIDS, and his views on the medicalization of the body and the need
for more compassionate science.

Since our RAICES meeting is from 6-7:00 tonight. .. some of us may want to leave
early to see this lecture. 

The lecture is happening in the Cole Assembly Room in Converse Hall at 7:00pm
