Dear everyone:

At Hampshire College we're putting up an opera (mas o
menos) based on traditional and popular Cuban music
and we need two female singers who can speak Spanish.
The performance will be more of a recital than a full
on theatrical production, so no previous experience in
theater is needed, just a nice voice and a love of
music.
We're also working with some musicians from the
holyoke salsa scene, and the whole thing will be
really fun and interesting.
We plan to go up in late march, maybe early april.
Student group leaders and teachers, please post this
message and tell your classes about this and otherwise
spread the word in any way possible.
