Transition movement in the U.K. ignited a global conversation and sharing about
positive, creative actions to build community resilience in the face of
economic instability, energy cost increases, worsening social inequity, and
environmental crisis. Transition U.S. (<u><span style="color:#0930FF"><a href="http://www.TransitionUS.org" target="_blank">www.TransitionUS.org</a></span></u><span style="color:black">) is offering the Training for Transition course developed
by the Transition Network (</span><u><span style="color:#0930FF"><a href="http://www.TransitionNetwork.org" target="_blank">www.TransitionNetwork.org</a></span></u><span style="color:black">) and taught in over 30 countries. The course is an
in-depth experiential introduction to the ideas, process and practices that
have inspired tens of thousands of people in hundreds of communities, and
catalyzed a rapidly-growing global network. This participatory two-day workshop
is for anyone wishing to explore the many dimensions of
"transitioning" and "resilience", and to support local
action and collaboration in their community. </span></span></p>

$85: student or low-income. $165: regular price and for folks from outside of
Franklin, Hampshire, Hampden and Berkshire counties. Anything over $85 helps to
provide training at low cost to folks of low-income. After June 30th, sliding
scale starts at $100. Cost includes materials, breakfast & lunch. </span></p>
