**BUILDING AN INDIGENOUS CLIMATE RESILIENCE NETWORK — Chris Caldwell,
**Sustainable Development Institute, College of Menominee Nation

Chris Caldwell will focus on the development of the Northeast
Indigenous Climate Resilience Network (NICRN) as an intertribal
collaborative group focused on building capacity and relationships
in the NE CASC region. The network has been the focal point for
creating cross-cutting relationships between Tribes and climate
scientists through an advisory council, website, and more recently
collaborative project proposals. The NICRN is an ongoing project
that will continue to focus and guide opportunities for Tribes in
the northeast/midwest and connect across the CASC network. The goal
is to promote increased Tribal participation at higher levels of
planning across the CASC network and within other federal agency and
academic institutional projects focused on climate resilience work.
