*Earthwalk VT Summer Job Opening*

Position: Field Mentor
Job Opening, Full time position, 6/13-7/27
Location: Plainfield, Vermont.

 From Earthwalk's website:

"Our Mission is to inspire and empower children, families and 
communities to reconnect with and care for one another and the Earth 
through long-term nature mentoring."


Candidate will work with youth ages 5-14, and a be a mainstay of 
Earthwalk's nature education based summer camps. Some experience with 
summer camps / nature education / experiential education / place based 
pedagogy very important. Field biology/ecology/permaculture/nature 
literacy skills a huge plus.


*Program Schedule*
Staff Training, June 13th-15th
Mentor in Training* week June 18th-22
Earth Explorers** Session 1 June 25-29
Earth Explorers SessionSession 2 July 2-6
Earthcrafters*** July 9-12 - (ages 11-14), has an overnight
Earth Explorers Session Session 3 July 16-20
Earth Explorers Session Session 4 July 23-27th

*Volunteer Mentors in Training, usually middle and high school age, 
connect with and are trained by field staff this week.

**Earth Explorers is the bread and butter one week camp

***One week camp with overnight, for returning campers ages 9-14
