FYI - This is an awesome thing to experience. Wear rain gear/bring an
umbrella. Unfortunately I can't make it this year.

Dear Salamander Lovers,

It is looking likely that the spotted salamander population at Henry
Street will make their annual mass migration tonight just after sunset.
This is year three in a project I am leading examining how well the
tunnels are functioning as well as developing new techniques for
improving their functionality.

Tonight, we will be meeting on site at 6:30pm (near the parked jeep
wrangler on the side of Henry Street). The site is near Cushman market
if you are not sure where the tunnels are. There we will briefly go over
the experiment as well as protocol (if you have attended in previous
years, it will essentially be the same). We will distribute supplies
from the back of the jeep. If you arrive on site and no one is at the
jeep, I will be sitting at the northern tunnel entrance in a cowboy hat
and orange raincoat.

Please bring rain gear as well as flashlights if you have them. All rows
/will/ get wet. We have flashlights that we can provide if you do not
have one. Also, if you need a ride, text or call at 301-717-8506 and we
can try to work something out.

Thanks so much for caring about these little guys!

Best,

Brandon
