Hello, thank you so much for passing this on! However, I would really
like to make transportation available to people that doesn't cost
money/so much money. Is there any way that we could get Five Colleges
Inc. to fund this?

Thanks,
-Emily

> Greetings,
> We're organizing a bus to the march against Keystone XL pipeline, Feb
> 17. (See below for our thoughts and info on Keystone XL and climate
> change.) We have a charter bus lined up to take us there but in order
> for it to make sense we need at least 40 people. The bus will leave
> Greenfield on Saturday, Feb 16 at 8:30AM, make a pickup in NoHo,
> arrive in DC at around 5PM that evening. We will then leave from DC at
> 5PM on the 17th and return to western mass after midnight.
> Due to logistical and financial challenges, in order for this to
> happen we need everyone's money by Wed, Jan 23. We need $100/person
> for transport to/from DC. If we don't make enough people, we will
> reimburse everyone in full. Also, that $100 may become less if more
> than 40 people sign up; ie: folks will receive a portion of the extra
> money paid. That being said, we are still determining lodging. We may
> go in on a "group rate" at a hotel which is looking to be around
> $80/room, right in central DC. Up to 4 people in a room. If we're
> lucky, however, we'll find a church or other organization to lodge us.
> Checks can be made out to Andrew Kurowski, PO BOX 36, Heath, MA 01346.
