[Newleaf] Environmental Committee Needs Nominations!

Hi New Leaf,

I'm just re-posting this from the Daily Announcements but it may  
interest you all.

"Environmental Committee Call for Nominations

The Environmental Committee is seeking nominations for three new  
representatives to serve: one student, one staff, and one faculty.

Membership terms will be two (2) semesters. Student representatives  
must have completed one year of study at Hampshire. Staff and Faculty  
terms will be two (2) years.

Committee membership will be effective immediately following the  
election. Representatives must be able to commit sufficient time to  
attend meetings and review and understand the significant amount of  
information and work that will be conducted throughout the year. The  
meeting time for the Fall 2012 semester is 9:00 a.m. in the Prescott  
Tavern every other Friday:

September 21
October 5
October 19
November 2
November 16
November 30
December 14

All nominees must submit a brief written statement expressing interest  
in serving on the committee. Please note: all statements will be  
included on the election ballot that will be distributed via the  
intranet.

Nominations must be received by Friday, September 21. Elections will  
open shortly therafter. Please visit the following link to submit your
