[Newleaf] Barn Proposal Collaboration!!!

Hi all,

I am writing because the student run cafe initative (Rambling Root) wants to
collaborate on a proposal for the Barn. We are really excited about the idea of
a collaborative proposal, that incorporates many student groups. We think that
this proposal will be strongest and will foster the best sense of community
with a lot of student group collaboration. Right now one major aspect of the
Rambling Root mission is to build a strong, collaborative, community space on
this campus, centered around sustainable food.

Right now the groups that we envision partnering with are Mixed Nuts, LFI,
Growing Farmers, Newleaf, PV Underground (a student group that promotes student
music at Hampshire, as well as attempts to link student music on all five
campuses), and possibly bart's arm (student group searching for gallery and
studio space). We are of course open to other groups that want to collaborate
as well. These were just our initial thoughts.

We will be meeting tomorrow, Monday November 21st at 6:30 pm in Mixed Nuts, so
please join us if you are excited about this idea!
