[Newleaf] Idea/ proposal for New Leaf

Hello!
I have an idea for New Leaf that could probably begin next semester with
research and planning .
Has anyone looked into starting a program on campus for events and group
meeting in which New Leaf (or other interested group of students) would have
a collection of dishes, cups, silverware, reusable napkins etc. This
collection of items could be located on  a cart that groups would be able to
rent out. the items would then be brought to saga to be washed and
sterilized and ready for the next users.

This program could be volunteer run (get community service hours) or become
a work study position.

The projected timeline I initially thought of would be to begin a discussion
with saga to see what they think about the idea and if it would be possible
to wash these things on a regular basis.
second, we would need to see where we could purchase these (whether it would
be a matter of going to consignment stores or if they needed to be new.)
Throughout this process, a dedicated group of students would need to be
responsible for advertising and scheduling the rentals, bringing the things
to meeting or events, bringing them to saga, etc.

Let me know if anyone is interested in pursuing this or excited about
discussing it for next semester.
