The Director of IT Infrastructure provides strategic and operational leadership for the College's information technology (IT) infrastructure services, including servers and server virtualization (Windows, Linux, VMWare), network storage facilities, the campus network and Wi-Fi software layer and network security, the College's internet connection, several data centers, and cloud-based resources.

This is a key IT leadership position supporting and reporting to the Chief Information Officer (CIO), responsible for day-to-day operation of the server and network software infrastructure, assisting in the development of strategic direction for infrastructure enhancements, and ensuring appropriate skillsets for personnel. The Director leads in establishing overall technical and network architectures; implementing security and operational requirements and standards; overseeing ongoing system, network, and data center operations; developing and executing annual budgets; and enhancing current department strategies, standards, processes and procedures.

The Director takes appropriate actions to support a diverse workforce and participates in the College's efforts to create a respectful, inclusive, and welcoming work environment.
