<blockquote type=cite class=cite cite="">Dear libri-list colleagues and
friends,<br>
<br>
A group of faculty at Smith is investigating the feasibility of creating
a Book Studies Concentration here, on the model of the Museums
Concentration
(<a href="http://www.smith.edu/museums/)%A0" eudora="autourl">
http://www.smith.edu/museums/) </a> that was set up 3 years ago. <br>
<br>
The proposal we hope to put before the administration in the coming weeks
should include a complete list of all the book-related (history, studio,
etc) courses offered in the 5-Colleges, so I am asking those of you who
teach such courses, or know of such courses in departments outside the
reach of the libri-list, to respond to me with simply the course number,
title and instructor (no description needed at this point). If any of you
are aware that such a list already exists I'd be pleased if you would
direct me to it.<br>
<br>
<font size=5 color="#FF0000"><b>Also, if you are interested in seeing the
proposal once it's done, let me know. </b></font><br>
