1-3 pm, the world's largest gathering of people reading<BR>in lawn chairs will
take place in the Parsonage field in the center of<BR>Westhampton, MA. Lounging
for Literacy is part fun, part stunt, and part<BR>a serious effort to promote
the importance of literacy, reading and<BR>public libraries. The 2-hour
celebration will include activities for<BR>children (story-telling, sing-a-long,
face painting), places where you<BR>can write down the names of your favorite
books, local author<BR>book-signings, food, a raffle drawing and
more.<BR><BR>Come as you are or as your favorite character. And, if you can,
bring<BR>a delegation to represent your business, book club or favorite
