<P class=MsoNormal><BR>Saturday, April 3, 2004 Zea Mays Printmaking in Florence
(Northampton), MA will host the first Edible Book Exhibit and Tea in
Western Massachusetts.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>Proceeds
will help support an annual exhibition of artists’ books to be held in June 2004
and a portion of the proceeds will go to benefit the Food Bank of Western
Massachusetts.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN></P>
<P class=MsoNormal>This year marks the Fifth International Edible Book Festival,
which will occur throughout the world April 1-5, 2004. People are invited to
create books out of materials that can be eaten. For this Tea all works of art
must be edible and have something to do with books (interpretation of a book is
welcome), and any consumable materials may be used. The edible books will be
exhibited at the studio from 3-4pm. Tea is served and at 4pm, the books are
photographed and then it's dig in!<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes">
</SPAN>Those who create and exhibit edible books are welcome free of
charge.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>Those who come for the
viewing and eating are asked for a $5 donation.<SPAN
style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN></P>
<P class=MsoNormal>Countries included in the past two years are Australia,
Brazil, Canada, England, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands and Spain, with
new additions of Morocco and Japan. Teas have been held in many locations
throughout the U.S. including; Arizona, California, Illinois, Massachusetts,
Minnesota, New York and Oregon.<BR><BR>Look for images from past Edible Book
