Thank you for your continued interest (and your patience). The Center for the Book is very much alive and well. In fact, we will probably postpone meetings of our seminar until next term because the fall calendar already offers such a rich array of activities.<BR>

Several of our events arose in conjunction with the completely redesigned First-Year Program at Hampshire. One of our goals is to encourage students to think about the nature of books, book history, and book studies as early as possible in their college careers.<BR>

€ We begin with a screening this Thursday when we launch our FIRST ANNUAL FILM SERIES dedicated to films about books. <BR>

Launching of the Campaign to Endow Hampshire's Future. Wide variety of cultural events and public discussions (the latter will include plans for the pioneering new Library/Knowledge Commons).<BR>
