[Libri] book arts exhibition at Smith College

"Paper, Bone, Vellum, Stone: Bookworks by Susan Barron" is on exhibition in the Book Arts Gallery (Neilson Library, 3rd floor), Smith College, from September 6-October 28, 2005. Approximately 100 items--including drawings, calligraphy,  books, and photographs by artist Susan Barron--are featured in this display sponsored by the Mortimer Rare Book Room. Gallery hours are the same as those for Neilson Library (Mon-Fri: 8 am-11 pm; Sat & Sun: 10 am-11 pm).

There will be a RECEPTION WITH THE ARTIST on Thursday, September 29 from 4 to 6 pm in the Book Arts Gallery.  A checklist (not illustrated) of the exhibition is available on site at no charge, or by mail for $3.50, to cover shipping & handling costs.
