• The Pioneer Valley Association of Academic Librarians has been kind
enough to open its spring meeting to our subscribers, who may be
interested in the lecture by David Godine. Please note that the
registration deadline is March 7 (details below).
• Speaking of registration: Tomorrow is (in principle) the deadline for
registration for the conference on Jews in the Renaissance (577-3600)
this weekend, which features, among other things, a lecture by Peter
Wortsman and a reading from his play, both of which deal with
censorship and book-burning.
