This year we have 32 books by 18 artists from all over the region. The artists in the exhibition are all affiliated with Zea Mays as artist members, guest artist teachers, or workshop participants. Our most distant entry comes from New Mexico, with others from New York, Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Rhode Island and Massachusetts. Artists include: Alexandra Boeri, Liz Chalfin, Anita Hunt, Ann Forbush and Kathy Lobo, Natalie Harding, Carol FitzSimonds, Louise Kohrman, Beverly and Paula Wilson, Claudia Sperry, Theresa Monaco, Bobette McCarthy, Alison Williams, Diane Worth, Meredith Broberg, Sheryl Jaffe, and Carrie Wilson.

This is a unique exhibition in that visitors are invited to don white gloves, take the books off the shelves and sit down to "read" them. The books in this year's show range from traditional sewn books with text and pictures to sculptural books, loose-leaf books, glass-paged books and more. The books include printmaking, drawing, painting, sculpture, sewing and hand papermaking. They are each a visual and experiential feast.
