Publishing Day

Faculty from the Five Colleges are cordially invited to a discussion of
academic and trade publishing with professional representatives from the
publishing world.  Faculty of any rank and discipline are welcome to attend.
Advanced graduate students are also welcome. Those with a project in any
stage, from conception to nearly-finished manuscript, are welcome to sign up
for an individual appointment with a panelist.
 
10:00 - 10:30 a.m.  Coffee
 
10:30 a.m. - 12:00 noon Panel Discussion

Michael Flamini, Executive Editor, St. Martin¹s Press
Wendy Strothman, The Strothman Agency, Former Executive VP Houghton Mifflin
Alan Sturmer, Acquisitions Editor, Edward Elgar Publishing
Bruce Wilcox, Director, University of Massachusetts Press
 
All are welcome to attend the panel discussion.
 
12:00 noon - 1:00 p.m.  Lunch with Panelists
 
Individual appointments with panelists will be available from 1:15 p.m. to
3:30 p.m.
 
Free parking will be available in the Campus Center Parking Garage for those
attending the panel discussion and luncheon.
