Starring Johnny Depp, Frank Langella, Lena Olin, Emmanuelle Seigner, Barbara

sleazy rare-book dealer seeks tome written by Satan and gets more than he
bargains for

"Dean Corso, (Johnny Depp) is a rather dubious rare book finder, whose
services are engaged by the owner of one of Europe's largest collection of
demonic texts. The prize of his collection is a 16th century tome entitled
"The Nine Gates of the Shadow Kingdom," a book containing nine etchings that
supposedly hold the key to summoning Satan himself. But duplicates of the
book exist and Corso is sent out to the corners of Europe to search for the
two remaining volumes. Corso becomes embroiled in a conspiracy involving
murder, theft, and satanic ritual, ...and ultimately finds himself
confronting the devil incarnate."

Based on the novel, _The Club Dumas_ (English edition 1996), by Arturo
Pérez-Reverte.

Best wishes for the end of the semester. We look forward to seeing you.
