<p>Hello Hampies,</p>

<p>Here are some happenings to be aware of in the Jewish/Spirtual realm of Hampshire life this week.</p>

<p>•Tuesday the 9th. FPH Faculty Lounge. TWO SESSIONS: 12-2, and 5-7. FOOD PROVIDED.</p>

<p>A consulting firm is on campus to help determine what our new Wellness Commons will look like.  The first step is to determine what Wellness actually means to students.  If you feel that there is a connection between your sense of well-being and your spiritual life or Jewish life, please come to the meeting and let your voice be heard.  It’s very important that the administration hear that the spiritual life programs and offerings are important to students.  (look for possible changes in Room number on the Daily digest)</p>

<p>•Wednesday. Merrill Living Room. 5:00 PM.</p>

<p>Jewish Student Union meeting. Open to all. Ideas and thoughts and planning for JSU events. Come check in and connect with a loving community. </p>

<p>•Friday. Merrill Living Room. 5:30 PM. KIRTAN SHABBAT. </p>

<p>Hampshire alum and Rabbi Andrew Hahn, brings Kirtan style chanting to the Friday night service. Kirtan is devotional meditative chanting based on yogic practice.</p>

<p>Everybody is welcome at all JSU events. No religious or spiritual background is required. Invite your friends, have some fun, join a community that is dedicated to happiness and spiritual fulfillment here at Hampshire College.</p>
