to be an activist for Yiddish culture, hear about issues affecting Jews
in social justice movements today, discuss issues that matter and
what's being done about them with other young Yiddish & social
justice enthusiasts. </p>

Find out about Yiddish film new and old, from the newly-restored classics to the newly-released "<em>A Gesheft</em>." </p>
<p class="style9"><span class="style17">Learning:</span> <br>
Learn some key phrases and idioms to impress the grandparents, take part in a <em>leyenkrayz</em>
(a reading circle), and read or listen in on a Yiddish story from one
of the great authors, and learn the aleph-beys, just the way the <em>rebbe</em> taught it!</p>
<p class="style9"><span class="style17">Theater: </span><br> Watch
young actors from the National Yiddish Theater perform in skits and
sketches, and participate in workshops on how to create your own
Yiddish radio play, just like Dzigan and Shumacher!<br>

<p class="style9"><span class="style15">Sports and Games:</span><span class="style11"><br>
</span> Ever wondered how to say "baseball" in Yiddish? Come play "hilke pilke" with us, and maybe a game of Yiddish Scrabble too! <br>

</span>We'll have a sing-along around the campfire (that's right, <em>campfire!!</em>) after Shabbos, and plenty of opportunities to sing Yiddish <em>lider</em> and dance to the <em>freylekhs</em> of Brandeis klezmer musicians, plus, a unique
opportunity to learn the singing styles of Hasidic women.</p>
<p class="style9"><span class="style11"><span class="style12">Shabbos: </span><br>
</span> Sing <em>zmiros</em>, listen to a shabbos <em>shiur</em> (lecture) on <span class="style18">the weekly Torah Portion, and enjoy Glatt Kosher meals, all in Yiddish!</span></p>
