As fears of international terrorism intensify, the European Union policy of continuing to blindly fund millions of euros per month to the corrupt Palestinian Authority sends a signal that there is no price to pay for Palestinian officialdom's corruption, antisemitism, and aid to terrorists.</p>
<p>
Despite serious charges that substantial EU funds have been misused to underwrite a 'culture of death' and to abet terrorist attacks against innocent men, women, and children in Israel, just yesterday the European Parliament rejected an effort backed by 170 Euro-deputies calling for full accountability of the end use of all its funds spent in the Middle East.</p>

<a href="http://www.wiesenthal.com/ec.cfm?m=6188L6415857s">We urge you to join the Wiesenthal Center in protesting this outrageous decision directly to the President of the European Parliament, Pat Cox</a>, and to send a message of solidarity to the courageous group of European Parliamentarians led by Francois Zimeray (Socialist Party, France), Ilka Schroeder (Green Party, Germany), and Willy de Clercq (Liberal Party, Belgium) who are spearheading the effort to stop the misuse of EU grants to the Palestinians.</p>
<p>
Chris Patten, European Union Commissioner earlier said that he needs an investigation into PA abuse of EU funds "like I need a hole in the head." But friends of true peace in the Middle East want to ensure that European Union support of Palestinian institutions occurs only after the pervasive campaign to deligitimize the Jewish state and Judaism is ended and when there is a real commitment to democracy and peaceful coexistence with the State of Israel.</p>
