Hello lovely JSU,

We'll be gathering for shabbat at 5:30 this evening under the canopy
between Merrill/Dakin Living rooms, across from saga.

I'm not really sure who reads these emails, but I hope you all are doing
alright. I was thinking about how we are a year into the pandemic as of
this week, and last year, waiting at the airport, I sent out this poem
[1] by Lynn Ungar. I wanted to share it again today.

Another poem I have is by Stacey Zisook Robinson z"l, who I was lucky to
have known briefly and heard her singing and poetry and Torah. Stacey
had a tradition of sharing pre-shabbat notes and poems to wide networks
of those she knew, and so in that spirit I share this poem [2] with you.
It is different from the first one, substantially so, but the space
between the two help me wonder if they are similar.

Stay tuned for announcements early next week about Passover, etc.

See you soon,
Al Coffey
