Hi JSU! Shavuah tov!

The deadline to sign up for mishloach manot has been extended until 10pm
EST on Tuesday, Feb 23. https://forms.gle/ALBLKajjSnGVLLwLA

Michloach manot (Hebrew: "sending portions") are gift baskets of food
and snacks traditionally sent on the Jewish holiday of Purim. Purim
commemorates the events of the book of Esther, when, due to Esther's
bravery, quick thinking, and support network, the lives of the Jews in
Shushan (modern Iran) were preserved. We celebrate the holiday by
reading the scroll of Esther, dressing up in costume, and sending gift
baskets to friends and family to ensure everyone has enough to eat and
to add sweetness and joy to the holiday.

Lucky for us, this is a very Covid-friendly way to build community! All
on-campus students are eligible to recieve a gift basket. Sign up at
this form to have a goody bag delivered to your Hampshire mailbox on
Friday, February 26. https://forms.gle/ALBLKajjSnGVLLwLA

Michloach Manot include the following (subject to change):
- Whole fruit
- Cookies from the Dining Commons (vegan option available)
- Pretzels
- Raisins
- Assorted tea bag
- Hot chocolate mix
