 Now in its seventh year, the HELIX FELLOWSHIP [3] immerses students in
the history of European Jewish life and culture -- filled with joy,
coexistence, and creative potential. The program welcomes university
undergraduate and graduate students to participate in a year-long
fellowship that spans two summers. Applications are accepted until
Monday, April 9.

WE'D LOVE TO SEE STUDENTS FROM HAMPSHIRE COLLEGE JOIN THIS YEAR'S
FELLOWSHIP. 

 This August selected fellows will coalesce as a group in Southern
California for a week-long culture colloquium curated by leading
scholars, activists, and artists of all types, exploring minority and
borderland cultures through the unique lens of Yiddish. The 2018 summer
program begins a transformative journey exploring culture in many
languages, traditions, and spaces that culminates the following year in
a summer of cultural immersion in Central and Eastern Europe.
