Gods and Goddesses, Old and New: Adventures in Neo-Paganism with Alum and
Professor Michael Strmiska

Dr. Strmiska has received an MA in South Asian Religion, PhD in Religious
Studies focusing on a comparative study of ancient Indian and Scandinavian
practices and received a Fulbright to study Old Norse Literature and
Mythology in Iceland in 1996 and again in 2004 to reach Religious Studies
in Lithuania. He has published numerous arices in many journals including
Nova Religio: The Journal of Alternative and Emergent Religion and The
Pomegranate: The International Journal of Pagan Studies.
