Purim is the holiday that celebrates the story of Esther, who saved
the Jewish people from being killed by the king's evil advisor, Haman.
One of the traditions of Purim is to dress up in fun costumes! Aliz
(the group for
Queer Jews and their allies) will be having a Purim drag
ball/carnival, where we will have whipped cream pie eating contests,
hamentaschen, mask decorating, face painting, fortune telling, and
more! You don't need to be queer or Jewish, just ready to have a good
time and dress up fabulously with us!!

Come eat hamentaschen and celebrate with us! Thursday the 8th at 9pm,
in the Queer Community Alliance Center, at the top of
Greenwich donut 4!!
