Midterms just ended and finals are looming on the horizon.

Relax at Pajama Party Shabbos with special guests Professor Rachel
Rubinstein (Hampshire) and Professor Justin Cammy (Smith), and all the
breakfast-for-dinner favorites: french toast casserole, bagels and lox,
scallion cream cheese, homemade coffee cake, vegetable quiche, and more!
This is a kosher, dairy meal, so aside from the lox, 100% vegetarian =)

Rachel Rubinstein, associate professor of American literature and Jewish
studies, received her B.A. in English from Yale University and her Ph.D.
from the Department of English and American Literature and Language at
Harvard University. Professor Rubinstein's teaching and research interests
range across American literature and culture, with a particular focus on
ethnicity and immigration, as well as Jewish and Yiddish literatures.

Justin Cammy is a specialist in modern Jewish literature and Eastern
European Jewish culture. He received a Ph.D. from the Department of Near
Eastern Languages and Civilizations at Harvard University, and a BA from
McGill University. Professor Cammy's scholarly interests in the ways in
which Jewish history, politics and culture intersect are reflected his
teaching which includes courses on Yiddish, Israeli, and American-Jewish
literature and culture, thematic courses on Holocaust literature and Jewish
comedy, a history course on the Jews of Eastern Europe, and a broad survey
of Jewish civilization. He also co-directs a Five-College interterm course
on Yiddish at the National Yiddish Book Center, and co-teaches a Global
Engagement Seminar in Jerusalem.
