The Sinai Scholars is coming to Hampshire as an EPEC class this fall Mondays
from 6pm-8pm. Eligible students may qualify for a stipend. Come to the info

*Sinai Scholars*
The Sinai Scholars Society integrates the study of classic Jewish texts,
social programming, and national networking opportunities to provide a fresh
and exciting context for Jewish life and learning on the university campus.
Sinai Scholars invites students to engage in an open community of study and
self-discovery that will help them to become passionate, informed Jewish
leaders on campus and in their respective communities.

Facilitator Biography*
Ever wondered who's the guy in a black hat handing out honey sticks, matzoh,
menorahs and more? Meet local rabbi, off-campus work-study supervisor, and
mastermind behind the Purim Party Bus and Seder Under the Stars, Rabbi
Shmuel Kravitsky.
*Course Requirements*
All fellows are expected to attend each of the eight classes. In addition
you will be expected to participate in at least three events:
- A Shabbat dinner, at a time to be announced.
- A field-trip or "retreat" with your class.
- A closing event in the week following the completion of the course.
Each student will be required to write:
- A one (1) page reaction paper reflecting on the how your experience as
a Sinai Scholar has changed or developed your perspective on Jewish living.
- A 5 page analysis paper on a topic of your choice to be entered in a
Sinai Scholars Society essay contest. See below for a list of suggested
writing topics.
- Complete an end of semester survey for the benefit of future Sinai
Scholar students like yourself, as we continue to respond to your feedback
to enhance the programming we offer.
