Believe it or not, Purim is here! So there is a 5-college celebration at
Amherst College Alumni Hall tomorrow (Saturday) night at 7:30 pm. The
#38 bus departs for Amherst at 7:05. If you have a car and would like
to offer a ride then meet in the FPH parking lat at 7:00 and we will
leave at 7:15. So if you miss or can't make the bus come to the parking
lot, but there is no guarantee of you getting a ride. If you can offer
a ride or need a ride e-mail one of the signers at aeg06, jmp06 or drs09
ASAP.

Then at the end of Shushan Purim (the day after Purim) ,which is Monday,
we will have a Hamantaschen Baking Shindig at 7:00 in the Merrill Living
Room/Kosher Kitchen. So come on Monday night ready to bake and eat lots
of Hamantashen! Feel free to bring some other refreshments as well if
you 'd like.

Shabbat Shalom and Purim Same'akh (Happy Purim),

PS If it's Purim now, that means Passover is only a month away! Watch
your e-mail for info on our community seder on the 1st night (March 29).

/"The more deeply immersed I became in the thinking of the prophets, the
more powerfully it became clear to me what the lives of the prophets
sought to convey: that morally speaking there is no limit to the concern
one must feel for the suffering of human beings. /

/"It also became clear to me that in regard to cruelties committed in
the name of a free society, some are guilty, all are responsible."/
