Hope to see you at the Etgar Keret talk this afternoon.

On a related note, as part of the "Radical Alternatives in the Age of Obama"
lunch series at the Cultural Center, Jim Wald and I will be talking about
Zionism (the official title is "Recognizing the Legitimacy of Zionism: A
Radical Alternative in the Age of Obama") on Tuesday, April 13 at noon. This
will be both a historical overview as well as a discussion of what has come to
be the vexed relationship of the Left with Zionism, and the goal is to
hopefully encourage a more complex and informed view of Zionism and Jewishness
on campus. We encourage those interested to come (I think there is also free
lunch).
