[Jewish] Arik Ascherman speaks at Hampshire

Hey all,

We just wanted to let you know that on Monday, November 9 at 7:30 PM Arik
Ascherman, the executive director of Rabbis for Human Rights, will be speaking
in the Main Lecture Hall.

Rabbi Ascherman is an indefatigable advocate who has stood up to bulldozers to
prevent demolitions of Palestinian homes, and is on the front lines of the
fight for the human rights of all people in Israel and the occupied
territories.

This event is cosponsored by Civil Liberties & Public Policy, Euro Studies, Law
Program, Peace & World Security Studies, Spiritual Life Program, Students
Promoting Israel Culture and Information, and Brit Tzedek.

There will be cookies and coffee.  It will also be recorded/taped.  Definitely a
worthwhile lecture, so don't miss it!
