At this week's lunch we'll study some texts about Birkat
Ha'chamah/Blessing of the Sun, which takes place every 28 years. It
will next happen on 4/8/09 (next Wednesday). Just come to Saga at
noon and meet me in the front dining room. If you're not on the meal
plan, just tell Roberta you're there for lunch with the rabbi and she'll
have you sign the slip.

Shalom/Salaam

/"The more deeply immersed I became in the thinking of the prophets, the
more powerfully it became clear to me what the lives of the prophets
sought to convey: that morally speaking there is no limit to the concern
one must feel for the suffering of human beings. It also became clear to
me that in regard to cruelties committed in the name of a free society,
some are guilty, all are responsible."/
