Ha - ok, well while that may not be the greatest pitch of all time, I wanted to
let all of you know that I'm running for student moderator for this year's
graduation ceremony, and unless you've got someone specific you were going to
vote for, I'd really appreciate your vote!  You can check out my
explanation/bio on my Facebook page, there is a lengthy note I published.

Let me just offer two main reasons, one serious, one real:  The 'serious' reason
is that I am an experienced public speaker who has served as the moderator of
Community Council this year, and that I believe I am well-qualified to
represent our class for the ceremony.  The real reason - I would really like to
see the ceremony be entertaining!  This is Hampshire College, the place where
anything happens, where everything happens, where you create as you go, where
you pull strings you didn't know existed to get something done.  I want to
bring a little of that flavor into the ceremony, make some jokes, and generally
celebrate the fact of our graduation.  So 4th years, if you choose to vote for
me, I promise you will not be disappointed.  Plus, there can't be anything
wrong with injecting a little Hebrew into the proceedings, right...?  :)
