A final reminder about this great program and a reminder to please pass
this on to anyone else you think might be interested:

Join us on Tuesday Sept. 23 @ 6:30 pm in the Merrill Living Room for
dinner with Israeli, Jordanian and Palestinian guests from the Arava
Institute for Environmental Studies.
Rabbi Michael Cohen, Director of Special Projects for The Arava
Institute and students who are studying there will share their
experiences earning about the environment and learning about each
other. Information will also be available for those who might like to
study at the Institute as well. To learn more about the Institute and
the important work that they do, go to www.arava.org.
Dinner from Fresh Side will be served.

/"The more deeply immersed I became in the thinking of the prophets, the
more powerfully it became clear to me what the lives of the prophets
sought to convey: that morally speaking there is no limit to the concern
one must feel for the suffering of human beings. It also became clear to
me that in regard to cruelties committed in the name of a free society,
some are guilty, all are responsible."/
