This is a message from my friend Rabbi Micah Becker-Klein in Springfield:
I am very excited to announce the First Western Massachusetts Jewish
Music and Festival---Wema fest!! The Wema fest will be held on Sunday,
September 21 from 12:00-8:00 at the Springfield JCC in Springfield, MA.
Details can be found at our website: www.wemafest.org
<http://www.wemafest.org/> .
We have worked hard at creating an innovative and exciting day of music
and fun for people of all ages and interests. Headline acts will include
Neshama Carlebach, Jewmonguous, and Golem. There are also additional
local groups who will be performing.
Unfortunately, I will be out of town that weekend, but if anyone wants
to try and get a group together and carpool down there is a group
discount. Check the website (address above) for more information. Or
you can contact Rabbi Micah Becker-Klein at the Springfield JCC @ (413)
739-4715 ext. 344.
Shabbat Shalom,

/"The more deeply immersed I became in the thinking of the prophets, the
more powerfully it became clear to me what the lives of the prophets
sought to convey: that morally speaking there is no limit to the concern
one must feel for the suffering of human beings. It also became clear to
me that in regard to cruelties committed in the name of a free society,
some are guilty, all are responsible."/
