[Jewish] TONIGHT! Peter Cole, poet-translator from Hebrew/Arabic, 7 pm WLH

Peter Cole, Hampshire alum, MacArthur fellow, award-winning poet-translator,
will read and speak tonight at 7 pm in West Lecture Hall FPH.
His translations from medieval Spanish-Hebrew poetry and from modern Arabic have
won awards, he runs an important publishing house in Jerusalem that publishes
little-known works from Middle Eastern writers, and his own poetry is electric:
spiritual and secular, political and personal, moral and aesthetic, all at once.
