I am writing to remind you about the next AVODAH conference call for 
prospective applicants, taking place tonight (Tuesday) evening, December 
2 at 9pm EST.  Please encourage your students to participate.  To join 
the call, dial 1-866-740-1260 and use access code 5457705 when prompted.

On the conference call, participants will have the chance to learn more 
about our program and application process.  They will also hear about 
the AVODAH experience from some alumni who are now doing exciting work 
in a variety of fields.  Time will be allotted for questions at the end.

Work full-time on issues you care about, including immigration, hunger, 
literacy, public health, domestic violence, and more.  

Learn from veteran organizers, activists, and educators about how to 
make change in the world and about the Jewish connection to social justice.

Live with other young people from all Jewish backgrounds and build a 
community committed to integrating social change and Jewish values.  You 
will receive a modest living stipend plus health insurance and an 
Americorps Education Award up to $4,725 for repayment of student loans 
or future education.
