[Jewish] kosher kitchen update

I just want to let everyone know what's happening with the Kosher-Halal
kitchen-to-be.

The kitchen, which is in a locked space adjacent to the Merrill kitchen,
is finished. However, we are still awaiting the delivery within the
coming week of the pots, pans, utensils, etc. to make it usable.

That means that it will be ready for use in time for Passover. Since it
will not have been used at all prior to Passover, then that means we
don't have to kasher the Dakin kitchen for passover use, as in the past.

I'm sure you will be getting an e-mail in the near future from the JSU
signers (or someone from JSU) discussing the logistics of kitchen use,
meals, etc. for Passover, but I just wanted to let you know what's
happening.

After Passover, all Shabbat dinners will be cooked in the kitchen.
Services and dinners will then take place in the Merrill Dining Room and
Living room.

Shalom,

SPN

"The more deeply immersed I became in the thinking of the prophets, the
more powerfully it became clear to me what the lives of the prophets
sought to convey: that morally speaking there is no limit to the concern
one must feel for the suffering of human beings. It also became clear to
me that in regard to cruelties committed in the name of a free society,
some are guilty, all are responsible."
