COME SMOKE UP WITH Hillel! Not pot, silly.  Hookahs.  Join Five College

Hillel and SAFI Wednesday (September 17th) at 7 PM in Umass Hillel (388

North Pleasant Street) for a Israel style Beit Cafe event.  There will 
be food, drinks, music and backgammon.  Smoke huka, drink coffee and 
socialize with friends. All are invited to attend this fun FREE
evening, and bring your family,friends, and roomates!  

Sunday, Sept. 21
GET CHEAP STUFF AND HELP ETHIOPIAN-ISRAELI IMMIGRANTS: The Jewish 
Community of Amherst is having a Tag Sale for Operation Rehovot,
Israel.  The Tag Sale will be Sunday, Sept. 21, from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm
at Jody Wax's house, 433 South Pleasant, on the corner of Memorial
Drive. The money raised will enable us to help poor and immigrant
children to adjust to their new lives in Israel.  Ma'alot Meshulam in
Rehovot, Isael is the elementary school benefiting from the tag sale.
