As many of you know, I got married last Wed. The wedding was amazing and felt
"higher" than I ever imagined it could. It was definitely one of the highest
days of my life! Any of you who came, thank you so much for being there. Do
you know that it's brought down that when you are born it's decided which souls
will be at your wedding? Isn't that interesting?

The reason that I am writing is not such a positive one actually. Two days
after the wedding my father in law went into the hospital (in Vancouver,
Canada) to be prapared for a major procedure. Tomorrow, Thur. he will have the
actual procedure. He is getting a bone marrow transplant and has a very low
chance of surviving tomorrow and everything continues to be extrememly fragile
for the next few weeks. I'm writing to please, please ask all of you to pray
for him, send him healing energy, light, strength, and whatever else you
believe might help him through this. His Enlish name is Steve and his Hebrew
name is Shimon ben Anne (the son of Anne.) In Judaism, when we pray for the
sick we say their mother's name, because women are believed to have especialy
healing energies. Thank you all so much for your prayers and your support.
It's taught that all our prayers are heard, always, even if we can't see it in
our lives so clearly. Oh, thank you for the Sheva Bracha Thurs. night. It was
a great mitzvah. Sincerely, Raquelli.
