Help plant 2,061 flags. Each one represents 5,000 of the 12 million Jews,
Soviet prisoners of war, Polish citizens, Gypsies, disabled persons,
Jehovah's Witnesses, and homosexuals who perished in Nazi
concentration
camps.

Sunday, April 27, 7pm, Campus Center Rm 803
Directed by Rob Epstein and Jeffrey Friedman, this film documents the
persecution of homosexuals in Nazi Germany. Seven of the nine
remaining
survivors share their incredible stories.
THEATRE: "Dear Esther"
Monday, April 28, 7pm, Campus Center Aud. Free.
This play, written by Richard Rashke, is based on the amazing true story
of
Holocaust survivor Esther Temer Raab, grandmother to UMass freshman
Stefanie
Raab. The play tells Esther's story of escape from a Nazi death camp in
Poland and her continued survival in hiding during the remainder of the
war.
Today she lives in the U.S. with her extensive family.
Holocaust Memorial Service & Concert with Laura Wetzler
Tuesday, April 29, 7pm, Massachusetts Rm/Mullins Center
A student-led memorial service followed by songs from lost Sephardic
and
Ashkenazi communities celbrating the vitality of pre-war Jewish life.
Holocaust Survivor Max Michelson
Wednesday, April 30, 5pm, Campus Center 101
Survivor and author of "City of Life", City of Death: Memories and
Riga will
discuss his life in Latvia prior to WWII and experiences as a Holocaust
victim and survivor.
