[Jewish] Simhat Torah this Saturday night

Just a reminder.

The Five-College Hillel celebration of Simhat Torah is this Saturday
night at 8pm at the UMass Hillel House (across from frat row). Shiraz
will be reading a Torah portion and leading a hakafah. If you want a
ride, give me a call x5987.

Simhat Torah celebrates the circle of Torah and includes readings from
the end of Deuteronomy and the begining of Genesis. The actual service
is pretty short but there 7 processions of the Torah, each accompanied
by a blessing (hakafah) and singing and dancing.
