<p>I just chatted some with Dina about a possible solution in the near term until we can find a better one :</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Dina or Sam:</p>
<p>Could you make available the power-point you brought to town meeting detailing the stipend proposal and explaining why you should get the funding you should get on Google Docs. Make it available to the public to be seen but not editable. And then if you could email the link for that url to this inbox that would be great. </p>
<p>Wesley:</p>
<p>I don't know if you can edit the qualtrics stipend voting yes no information area once the survey has gone live, but if you could insert the url that Dina or Sam would get we could fix some of the problem. Be sure to include a sentence or two that clearly states that if "people have questions about this and want to know more they should click on this link."</p>
<p> </p>
<p>If this is all possible this could address the problem in the short term. To be clear, this is just an idea I came up with, not necessarily any formal action on the part of Coordboards. </p>

<pre>Hi CoordBoard,
I'm writing because I have an issue with the Town Meeting ballot for
the FundCom stipend proposal.
It is unfair to the proposal that precedents were not included in the
ballot. A bit of history should have been provided explaining why
FundCom officers are asking for stipends, narrating that they used to
receive stipends, that they were removed last year, and that the
current officers expected them when signing up for the position.
FundCom is not asking stipends out of nowhere, and this is the
conception Hampshire students who do not go to Town Meetings or are
related to HSU groups (i.e. The Majority) are appearing to have. Posts
around Facebook support this statement.
I am really worried that the results will be unfavorable to FundCom
due to a ballot that lacked complete information.
Please take the necessary steps to address this ASAP.
Best,
Xavier A. Torres de Janon
