<div><font face="arial, sans-serif"><br></font></div><div><font face="arial, sans-serif">In regards to your most recent email, if you refer to our minutes you will find that the crafting of a smoking proposal from the student body using qualtrix requires very specific coding which is very time consuming. Due to this, the ballot has not gone out in the same time frame as past ballots. We've been working on the ballot diligently in attempts to make it as accessible and comprehensive as possible. In addition, the Town Meeting that was supposed to occur on the 13th was pushed back due to poor advertising due to a lack of items on the agenda. Several parties proposed items to be on the agenda, but failed to submit a fully vetted proposal that CoordBoard could approve (i.e. fundcom). How do you propose CoordBoard advertise a Town Meeting with no agenda items? It is not our job to "create" agenda items for community discussion, it is simply our job to provide a space for said discussion and facilitate it. Town Meeting has been pushed back to allow student's and other community members more time to submit proposals. </font></div>

My concerns aren't irrelevent or misguided because of the lack of timely advertising for town meetings along with the fact that the voting never went out for smoking even though that meeting was two weeks ago. It's not that town meeting isn't occuring, it's that town meeting is occuring badly.<br>

All parties that submitted official proposals to CoordBoard and were<br>

meeting. The date change is also noted in our minutes and our Facebook.<br>
As far as the location is concerned. The location for town meeting has yet<br>
to be determined. Again, this is in our minutes and on our Facebook page.<br>
CoordBoard is dedicated to transparency so that incidents of<br>
misunderstandings and miscommunication (i.e. the concerns that you have<br>
brought up) are limited.<br>

To reiterate, at this time your concerns are both irrelevant and misguided.<br>
I strongly encourage you to review our minutes and/or our Facebook before<br>
needlessly attacking a board which is company transparent.<br>

Lastly, to say "literally nothing gets done" is vastly hyperbolic. Our sole<br>
job is to organize town meeting. In case you have forgotten, we have hosted<br>
numerous town meetings in the 2013-2014 school year, many of which resulted<br>
in policy change and/or implementation of student projects. Seeing as Town<br>
Meeting has occured and the past and will occur in the future, it is<br>
illogical and invalid to infer that CoordBoard is not doing their job.<br>
