The Law Program's special lecture series "Challenges to Legal
Thought in the 21st Century" continues Thursday Oct 12 with a
talk by Peter Goodrich, Professor of Law and Humanities at Cardozo Law
School, Yeshiva University, New York.<br>
<br>
Entitled "The Pythagorean Complex and the Common Law", the
lecture will explore how it is that the doctrine of the long-haired
Pythagoras, who left no texts and is known only through the teachings
of his followers, may be connected to the law originally devised by
the Druids which became the Common Law.<br>
