        • Bring your questions

I hope you have a chance to engage with this opportunity to talk with
Wendy!.

*BIO FOR WENDY WEBB WILLIAMS 86F
*At Hampshire, Wendy, a Black woman and first generation college
student, was active in SOURCE. In her early years, she was interested in
theater and also active in the 5-College group, New World Theater, which
was led by a Hampshire alum.  She concentrated her studies and Div III
on the identity development of Black women in relation to their
representation in the media.

After Hampshire, Wendy wanted to travel and worked as an international
flight attendant for 10 years before she decided to pursue law. She
received her law degree from the University of Maryland Carey School of
Law in 2001 and began her legal career as a Judicial Clerk to a Chief
Judge on the Maryland Court of Appeals.

After a stint in the Maryland Department of Economic Development as an
Assistant Attorney General focusing on small business development,
governance and financing, Wendy joined US Foods where she played a
crucial role in helping rebuild their law department, taking on
increasing responsibilities, including restructuring and re-branding.
During this time, Wendy completed her MBA from the University of
Maryland. She joined Sara Lee in 2018.

Wendy is active in several community organizations. She is on the Board
of Trustees at Hampshire and sits on the board of Gabriel’s Horn, a
foundation dedicated to increasing autism awareness in communities of color.
