Hello from Colorado Law!

Because of your involvement with your institution’s pre-law advising 
program, I wanted to introduce you to (or remind you about) a program 
through the University of Colorado Law School that is an excellent 
opportunity for your students – Mini Law School Online. This year’s 
curriculum will *focus on the issues impacting the upcoming 2020 
election*, including voting rights, election law, climate change, 
immigration, and more.

As the program has grown, we have seen the number of prospective law 
students registered for Mini Law School increase, apply to law school, 
and matriculate. A past Mini Law School participant just graduated as a 
member of the class of 2020, inspired in part by his experience in Mini 
Law School.

We are pleased to offer Mini Law School to pre-law students at a 
discounted rate of *$100*. The University of Colorado Law School will 
also *waive the law school application fee* for any Mini Law School 
participant who applies to Colorado Law in the 2020-2021 application

The eight-week series kicks off Tuesday, Sept. 8 with Associate 
Professor Craig Konnoth's discussion of the impacts of the 2020 election 
and the coronavirus pandemic on health care and health policy.  Each 
week, a Colorado Law professor will present on a different topic, 
including:

  * *Lying and Elections* (Professor Helen Norton)
  * *Election Law *(Chief Judge Timothy Tymkovich, United States Court
    of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit)

    Skinner-Thompson)
  * *Immigration Law: A Reform Agenda for the 2020 Election… and
    Beyond* (Associate Professor Ming Hsu Chen)
  * *The National Popular Vote Movement and the Electoral
    College* (Professor Jennifer Hendricks)

Participants can livestream the lectures (and ask questions) or watch 
on-demand on their own schedule.  Participants can also register to
